Climate change is a key challenge for our planet this century.

We are already facing the consequences of human-made climate change: rising sea levels, the spread of deserts, more severe weather extremes like storms and floods, and the melting of arctic ice and glaciers.

The human, artistic, economic,  and natural environment are in danger.

Actions must be taken now.Green Leaf wants to suggest   credible concepts and strategies for the transition towards a Greener and safer  future:

• We want to limit the lifetime of nuclear and coal plants, and  make renewable energy the fundamental source of energy​

• We promote sustainable ways of transportation. public transport and shared mobility (bike sharing, car sharing) to stop CO2 emissions and cut pollution

• We want to stop plastic waste and encourage the development of sustainable alternatives and recycling targets

• We believe in sustainable and organic farming

• We want to expand protected natural areas significantly

• We call for an effective sustainable industrial policy, research and eco innovation

• We promote green economy and green jobs

• We firmly believe on the membership of the European Union and the shared values that bind Europe together: democracy, freedom, diversity, multiculturalism, multilanguage, peaceful and diplomatic agreements

• We promote Investments  on education, research, culture, and  guarantee  people access to social protection and rights such as housing, education and political participation

• We  propose  a  minimum income to guarantee better social security for young people

• We guarantee women  equal access to education, health care, decent work, and representation in political and economic decision-making

• We want to radically increase transparency in our institutions, including our parliament and govern

• We support civil society in defending and deepening democracy, the rule of law and human rights

• The defense of human rights is our priority, so we want the Union to support countries, regions and cities welcoming  refugees and migrants

• We want to stop arms exports to countries under dictatorial regimes
